The vigorous development of the industry has also attracted more talents to join it. Zhou Xitong, who graduated from college in 2007, gave up the opportunity to work in a big foreign city and returned to his hometown Zhucheng to enter the vacuum packaging machinery manufacturing industry. He observed that in recent ten years, with the diversification of food processing industry in Zhucheng, the requirements for food machinery manufacturing industry have become higher and higher, the degree of product segmentation and automation has become higher, and the label "Made in Zhucheng" has become brighter.

As a famous food machinery manufacturing base, food machinery manufactured by Zhucheng accounts for 80% of the national market. Up to now, there are more than 1,200 enterprises engaged in food machinery manufacturing in Zhucheng, with nearly 100,000 employees in the industry. The product categories involve thousands of items in more than a dozen categories, such as automatic breeding of meat and poultry, slaughtering and cutting, packaging and sterilization.

With a huge upstream raw material end and a perfect midstream processing and circulation end, the food industry in Zhucheng has now formed industrial clusters including planting and breeding, food processing, food machinery and cold chain logistics.
