  In the past few days, due to the influence of strong cold air, low temperature, rain, snow and freezing weather have occurred in many places in China, and some roads have been seriously covered with snow, which has affected people’s traffic. The vast number of officers and men of the Armed Police Force continued to fight in the front line of rescue, and went all out to fight the snow and ensure smooth flow.

   Hubei Armed Police Corps

    On the night of February 2, a large number of roads in Xiaogan City, Hubei Province were blocked due to long-term freezing rain and blizzard weather, and people and vehicles could not pass. Xiaogan detachment of Hubei Armed Police Corps quickly dispatched officers and men into the action of breaking ice, removing snow and rushing through roads. After 4 hours of continuous fighting, relevant roads were resumed.

    From the night of February 2 to the whole day of February 3, heavy snow fell in Jingzhou City, Hubei Province. The Jingzhou detachment of Hubei Armed Police Corps was dispatched urgently. The officers and men carried shovels, pickaxes and other tools and quickly put into the task of clearing snow, during which they successfully rescued the trapped vehicles.

    During the night of February 3rd to 4th, heavy snow fell in Wuhan City, Hubei Province, and the double runways of Wuhan Tianhe Airport were temporarily closed, resulting in large-scale flight delay or cancellation, and a large number of passengers were stranded at the airport. The officers and men of the Wuhan detachment of the Hubei Armed Police Corps heard the order and actively helped the airport clean up the snow on the apron and fully guaranteed the flight to resume operation. After more than 10 hours of continuous fighting, dozens of aprons were successfully ensured to enter and exit normally.

    At 21 o’clock on the evening of February 5, passengers at Wuhan, Wuchang, Hankou and other railway stations belonging to Wuhan City were stranded due to the late suspension of trains. A detachment of Hubei Armed Police Corps and Wuhan detachment quickly organized officers and men to invest in nearby railway stations to provide convenience services for stranded passengers. At the same time, strengthen coordination with local departments, maintain order at the scene, and provide warm-hearted services.

    At 19: 50 pm on February 5, the road surface of Huangwan Bridge in Jingshan section of Jingmen City of Shanghai-Chengdu Expressway was covered with snow and ice, and the traffic was severely congested. Hundreds of returnees were stranded at the expressway for more than 10 hours. Officers and men of Jingmen detachment of Hubei Armed Police Corps dispatched wreckers, cranes and other equipment, carrying shovels, snow shovels, pickaxes and other tools to shovel snow and deice. The officers and men were also divided into several groups, carrying materials on foot, asking about the physical condition and difficulties of the trapped people car by car on the congested road section, and delivering self-heated rice, biscuits and drinking water to the people.

    In the early morning of February 6, affected by heavy snow, some roads in Huanggang City, Hubei Province were heavily covered with snow, and the traffic in the city was seriously affected.     On the morning of February 6, there was a serious high-speed snow in Xiaogan City, Hubei Province. Affected by the low temperature, some people have symptoms such as colds and fever. Xiaogan detachment of Hubei Armed Police Corps organized rescue while sending medical teams to patrol on foot to deliver medicines.

    Recently, affected by continuous snowfall, large areas of snow have appeared in Yichang, Jingzhou, Hubei and Hefei, Anhui, seriously affecting traffic. The officers and men of the Second Mobile Corps of the Armed Police Force rushed to help, dispatched loaders, wheeled bulldozers, graders and other large-scale equipment, and the soldiers rushed through the snow-covered sections in multiple ways.

   Armed police Anhui corps

    On February 4th, heavy snow fell suddenly in Bozhou City, Anhui Province, and many traffic arteries in the urban area were covered with snow and frozen, which had a serious impact on people’s travel and life. Bozhou detachment of Anhui Armed Police Corps urgently dispatched officers and men, set up three snow-sweeping commandos, and went to several main traffic roads in the urban area to carry out snow-clearing and deicing operations to ensure smooth traffic.

    Affected by continuous heavy snowfall, snow and ice on many roads in Bengbu City, Anhui Province are serious. The Bengbu detachment of the Anhui Armed Police Corps quickly dispatched more than 100 officers and men to the snow-sweeping and ice-shoveling work, cleared up a series of "convenient roads" and "reassuring roads", and went all out to ensure the safety of people’s travel.

    On February 4, many roads in Yueyang City, Hunan Province were severely frozen due to snow, which had a great impact on people’s production, life and property safety.

    Yueyang detachment of Hunan Armed Police Corps sent three groups of officers and men to participate in the task of shoveling ice and snow to help restore road traffic in the main city.
