Focus on details and grand exhibition
Treating work, Song Zhengyu is a very meticulous person. After eight years of cold and heat, the control system of Long March 7 has been updated several times. Every time the scheme is improved, the control system team is under the leadership of Song Zhengyu.
At the beginning of the comprehensive test of the control system, Song Zhengyu paid attention to the details, paid attention to the transient parameters when the system supplied power to a single machine, and asked the system to monitor the voltage and current at the moment when each single machine was powered on. Because there are many single machines in the control system, the instantaneous pre-charge current of the system is too large when it is powered on at the same time. Under the guidance of Song Zhengyu, after repeated experiments, the control system finally solves this problem and controls the pre-charge current at the moment of power-on. Song Zhengyu’s attitude of focusing on small things and paying attention to details makes the control system of Long March 7 develop in a more reliable, systematic and complete direction.
Technical research and innovation road
Regarding technology, Song Zhengyu is a person who is always innovating. He is very concerned about the development of space technology at home and abroad, and often discusses with you the recent international news. At Song Zhengyu’s insistence, the ground test and launch control system cancelled the DC power supply for initiating explosive device, and used the simulated lithium-ion battery to power the rocket during ground test, which was closer to the real state during flight and made the control system more fully tested and verified on the ground. The Long March 7 rocket is also the only rocket that uses the operating system in the arrow computer. The operating system in the arrow machine makes the "brain" of the control system more "smart" and has stronger overall control. Song Zhengyu believes that machines are more reliable than people. At his insistence, Long March 7 added the interpretation of flight control software to the automatic interpretation software on the ground to realize the interpretation while testing. After the test is completed, the interpretation report can be automatically generated, which greatly reduces the workload of testers after the test and reduces the misjudgment caused by human error.
