Belarusian President Lukashenko: With the help of our friends in China, we realized our dream of making domestic cars.

According to a report by Xinhuanet on November 20th, a few days ago, China Geely Holding Group and Belarusian Automobile Factory jointly built the CKD passenger car factory, and the first mass-produced car Geely Bo Yue was officially rolled off the assembly line. Belarusian President Lukashenko, who attended the ceremony, said: "China friends helped Belarus build a car factory and thanked China for helping us realize our car dream."

白俄罗斯拥有很强的重型机械制造能力,曾是前苏联时期的重型货车生产基地,曾经制造了世界先进的大型载重汽车、起重机和拖拉机等。但由于历史原因,白俄罗斯长期无法制造自己的国产轿车。可以说,生产自己的轿车是白俄罗斯的心愿。

“我以前曾梦想,什么时候我们白俄罗斯也能生产自己的轿车”,卢卡申科在仪式上说。

为了实现本国的“轿车梦”,白俄罗斯曾考虑跟德国大众等外国大牌汽车制造商合作,但均未成功。吉利控股集团总裁安聪慧介绍说,白俄罗斯在对包括中国在内的全球汽车行业做过详细的调研后选择了吉利。为了吸引吉利来白投资,卢卡申科总统还亲自向习近平主席提出请求。

“我们的中国朋友响应了我的请求,帮助我们建造了这么好的汽车制造厂,还为此提供贷款。得益于我最亲密的朋友习近平主席的决定,我们在中国朋友的帮助实现了生产国产轿车的梦想”,在当天的仪式上,卢卡申科动情地说。

在俄白哈三国于2012年1月1日成立欧亚经济委员会、三国汽车工业组装的大门关闭之前,吉利控股集团于2011年12月底与白俄罗斯汽车厂成立了合资公司,成为唯一一家拿到在欧亚经济联盟国家汽车组装“准生证”的中国企业。

在中白两国领导人的共同关心下,白俄罗斯吉利汽车项目得到快速发展。2013年起,合资公司在明斯克州鲍里索夫液压机厂的部分厂房以半散件(SKD)的方式组装吉利轿车。2015年3月,合资公司在鲍里索夫和另一工业城市若基诺之间的一处地点开始建设以全散件(CKD)方式组装轿车的乘用车制造厂,新厂占地面积118公顷,由中信建设公司使用中国提供优惠贷款进行建设。中白两国的建设者们仅用两年半时间就完成了涂装、焊装、总装全套工艺及辅助设施的工厂建设。新厂一期工程设计产能为年产6万辆。一旦条件成熟,可短期内提高到年产12万辆。

卢卡申科在与白俄吉利车厂员工们进行现场交流时说:“所有在场的白俄吉利汽车厂员工们,让我们代表汽车厂全体员工、代表白俄罗斯政府和人民,感谢习近平主席向我们提供的巨大帮助。不久后我要亲自感谢习近平主席,感谢他响应我的请求帮助我们生产轿车”。

2015年5月8日,习近平主席在对白俄罗斯进行国事访问前,在白《苏维埃白俄罗斯报》上,发表了题为《让中白友好合作的乐章激越昂扬》的署名文章。其中写道,“吉利汽车组装厂的产品实现了白俄罗斯的‘轿车梦’”。

希望通过白俄吉利项目实现本国“轿车梦”的卢卡申科非常重视该项目的进展情况。2014年,他曾亲自试驾在以SKD方式组装的吉利汽车。之后他还要求政府官员在更换公务用车时不再选择进口车,而要改用在本国产的吉利轿车。

当天陪同卢卡申科参观吉利汽车厂的白俄罗斯副总理谢马什科在接受中国记者采访时表示,白俄罗斯吉利汽车厂填补了白不能生产轿车的空白。

“白俄吉”乘用车组装厂生产的首款车型吉利博越是吉利3.0精品车的代表之一。今年10月份,博越在中国销量已超过3万辆,上市至今累计销量超过33万辆,今年前10个月累计销售超过22万多台,成为中国市场最为热销的SUV车型。吉利控股集团总裁安聪慧说,吉利把自己最好的产品放到了白俄罗斯生产,这个工厂是按照吉利的最新的标准建造的,采用了吉利自动化程度最高的标准建设。

The new passenger car factory not only entrusted the country’s "car dream", but also carried many local people’s expectations for the future. Alexander, the workshop foreman who "jumped ship" from Belarus Automobile Factory to Geely Automobile Factory, said that in Geely Automobile Factory, new automobile assembly skills can be learned, and the new factory will have great development prospects. With the automobile factory really putting into production and starting to sell cars, he will be satisfied with the future salary level. Several college students who have been practicing in the automobile factory for two months also said that because their major is related to automobile manufacturing, they learned new skills during their internship and hope to work in the automobile factory in the future.

According to reports, at present, the average wage of Belarusian Geely Automobile Factory is higher than the national average, second only to the average wage of Minsk, the highest in the country. At present, there are more than 700 workers working in the automobile factory, and the number of employees is expected to reach 1300 in the future. It can be said that it has made great contributions to solving the employment of local people.
