(Reporter Xiao Xinyu, correspondent of Wei Zhang, Zhuzhou Evening News) On April 9, the Municipal Housing and Construction Bureau organized a meeting on the deployment of dust control actions on construction sites, putting forward further requirements for dust pollution control on construction sites, and strictly implementing the one-vote veto system.

At the meeting, the Municipal Construction Engineering Quality and Safety Supervision Station reported the preliminary inspection. As of March 30th, there were 221 projects under construction in the city, and a small number of construction sites failed to meet the requirements.

On March 17th, this year, the construction site of Dongtou Zhuangyuanfu Project in Lusong District, the quality and safety station of the Municipal Housing and Construction Bureau, and the urban management departments found that the construction site was surrounded by exits, and the trucks entered and exited with mud. The road on site is muddy, the main construction road is not hardened, the loess inside the construction site is exposed, and there is no dust suppression facility on the working surface … The law enforcement officers immediately stopped the construction, interviewed the project leader, and issued a rectification notice.

On April 8, the joint law enforcement team came to the construction site again to check the rectification situation. Compared with before, the rectification has achieved initial results. Vehicles entering and leaving the gate of the construction site must be washed, the bare soil on the construction site is covered with green dust-proof net, and a brand-new cement road has been built. Take multiple measures at the construction site to effectively reduce the impact of dust on air quality.

On April 9th, the dust control action deployment meeting reported the dust control problems of the construction projects in progress recently randomly selected by our city, and made detailed requirements for the next site operation, including more than ten tasks such as enclosure setting, construction site layout and project site cleaning.

Among them, the enclosure height of housing construction municipal engineering in urban main roads should not be less than 2.5 meters, and the general road section should not be less than 1.8 meters. Earthwork, sand and gravel and other bulk materials shall not be piled up inside the enclosure, and the lower opening shall be closed. Public service advertisements and propaganda slogans should be set outside the enclosure to reflect the characteristics of the times and Zhuzhou humanistic elements.

According to the requirements, the entrance and exit of the construction site, the main roads in the field, the material stacking and other areas must be hardened with concrete or laid with hard blocks. Equipped with automatic flushing device on the inside of the entrance and exit according to the conditions, set up a guard management system, and prohibit overloaded vehicles. Dust-proof measures such as covering, curing or greening must be taken for earthwork, bulk materials and exposed sites piled up in the construction site, and it is strictly forbidden to be exposed.

Encourage the installation of spray dust suppression devices in scaffolding, tower cranes and other parts. Gradually promote the construction of "smart construction site", realize the linkage between dust monitor and spraying system, and spray dust automatically.

At present, the on-line monitoring data of dust on construction sites in our city has achieved national networking. In the future, the city’s construction projects with a construction area of more than 50,000 square meters, or new, modified and expanded projects with a construction period of not less than two years, and roads and bridges with a length of more than 1 km, will establish and implement online dust monitoring during the construction period, and connect with the dust monitoring platform of the Municipal Quality Safety Station.
